GREENWOOD, AR - Kashmir World Foundation (KwF) is proud to announce the release of its documentary film, Beyond The Noise, this Saturday, November 8th, 2025. Filmed on Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula, home to 2.5% of the world’s biodiversity, the documentary follows a pioneering team of interns, citizen scientists, and experts working to decode the language of sentinel species, nature’s early warning system. This expedition marks the first time correlated datasets have been used to train and develop artificial intelligence in the remote depths of a primary rainforest.
Beyond The Noise explores how cutting-edge bioacoustic monitoring and artificial intelligence transform the way humans understand and protect endangered species. By capturing the vocalizations of sentinel species and analyzing them through AI, KwF demonstrates how technology can serve as a bridge between the natural world and actionable conservation intelligence.
“Beyond The Noise is not just a film — it’s a window into the future of conservation,” said Princess Aliyah Pandolfi, KwF Founder and Executive Director. “We are deeply grateful to Rebeca Quiros and Ananias Arguijo, owners of the Tamandua Biological Station in the Osa Peninsula, who welcomed our team into this vital research hub, shared decades of knowledge, and guided us through the real challenges facing the rainforest. Over 20 years, Rebeca and Ananias have witnessed the decline of peccaries — a keystone species — and the cascading effects on majestic jaguars. Their dedication to being part of the solution inspired everything we captured in this documentary.”
The premiere of Beyond The Noise will be streamed on YouTube on November 8, 2025, at 7:30 pm CST, where viewers can chat live with the KwF team during the screening to share reactions and ask questions in real time. On November 15, 2025, KwF will host a live panel discussion, Lessons From The Wild, giving audiences the opportunity to engage more deeply with the team, ask detailed questions, and learn about the science and stories behind the film. The panel will also highlight the next phase of the Sentinel Species BioAcoustics Project, including the development of Shaman I: The Universal Translator and a return expedition to Costa Rica in May 2026.
Highlighting KwF Interns and Post-Production Team
The documentary owes much of its storytelling and visual impact to KwF’s global interns, who contributed to post-production from around the world. The Post-Production Team, led by Jonah Brainard (Team Lead & Editor), included Mia Rasmussen (Editor), Sofia Reyes (Editor/Story Artist), Abiola Batiste (Lead Animator), Brian Colding (Voice Artist/Story Artist), Daniela Pena (Animator), Budur Shah (Story Artist), Anshul Rohilla (Sound Designer), Reed Mattingly (Sound Editor), Gabe Bush (Sound Editor), Clarke Betz (Director of Creative Strategy), Anna King (Early Stage Producer), R’Tasiah Dorsey (Social Media), and Iari Varriale (Senior Advisor, Film & Documentary). Their work exemplifies how collaboration across disciplines and continents can bring innovative conservation stories to life.

“I’m very excited for it,” says Princess Aliyah Pandolfi. “We’re developing this technology to both help the animals and inspire a new generation of conservationists to make a difference in the world.”
