Va. students learn to construct drones in DaVinci Challenge Workshop

Seventh grade girls at Glasgow Middle School in Lincolnia, Virginia learn to build a drone as part of a four-day after school program called the DaVinci Challenge: Build a Drone Workshop.

The after school program also covers various aspects of science, technology, engineering, art and math. The workshop was created to inspire students to embrace STEAM and is a program of the Kashmir World Foundation and funded through a grant by the Community Foundation Business Women's Giving Circle.

ABC7 News' Kellye Lynn spoke with Executive Director of the Kashmir World Foundation Aliyah Pandolfi as well as participating students.
