About the Workshop
Create a unique new colour from the two dyes without mixing them as we explore how one part of nature works: Plants. We will teach how plants bring water from their roots to their leaves by performing a capillary action experiment. Then, while we wait for noticeable results, we will plant a seed (any seed you have) to take care of and observe. In all the following webinars we will take a few minutes each time to check up on our plants and compare. For this experiment you need the following things:
-3 cups or glasses filled with water
-2 paper towels
-2 colors of food coloring (Optional)
-a pot filled with soil
-any seed (examples include: lentil, bean, cilantro, lattice, tomato)
Note: The lentil or bean could work from regular food items
