Snow leopards are solitary, mountain-dwelling mammals found throughout 12 countries in Central and South Asia. They have a small and decreasing population throughout a large range. These elusive cats are vulnerable due to poaching, habitat loss, a decline in the availability of prey, and poisoning.Â
Asif Somairi is a snow leopard conservationist from the greater Kashmir region called, Gilgit, Baltistan. He will share the challenges of snow leopards face in the himilalyan region.Â
