Smithsonian Air & Space Museum's Heritage Family Series, "STEM Day" was held on August 1, 2015 at Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly.
This day was based on STEM education to celebrate the global innovation in the field of science, technology, engineering, and math. The general public has the opportunity to meet scientists and engineers who are active in fields such as robotics, aerospace design, and aviation. STEM Day allowed visitors to learn and develop their own skills through hands-on activities. Kashmir World Foundation Staff, Mentors, and Internation Interns answered many questions about the DaVinci Challenge: Build a Drone Workshop.
The DaVinci Challenge is based on STEAM education and provides a complete learning experience on design, fabrication and robotic systems integration with drones, in a four-day hands-on workshop.
