About the Role

We are seeking an aerospace or mechanical engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of unmanned aerial systems dedicated to studying and safeguarding endangered species. Our primary focus is on Eagle Ray, a Blended Wing Body aircraft engineered for sea-level takeoff, ascent to over 18,500 feet, and resilient operation in adverse weather conditions.

As an intern, you will collaborate with leading aircraft designers, gaining hands-on experience in computer-aided design (CAD) and materials science. Your role involves integrating power, propulsion, control systems, sensors, and avionics into the Eagle Ray platform, optimizing its performance to meet specific mission requirements.

Additionally, you will represent our team in Project Trinity, where you'll integrate artificial intelligence into Eagle Ray. This entails enabling the aerial system to possess situational awareness, make decisions autonomously, and optimize its flight profile and actions to effectively support its mission.

Join us in advancing the boundaries of aerospace technology while contributing to the conservation of endangered species. Learn more about Project Trinity and our organization: Project Trinity: Tracking the Himalaya's Elusive Apex Predator
