About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of protecting endangered species, with a particular focus on snow leopards and sea turtle conservation, as well as counter poaching efforts. As an A.I. Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced machine learning models using cutting-edge technologies such as YOLOv8 and above, aimed at safeguarding these invaluable species.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing advanced machine learning models in Python, C++, or other relevant languages, utilizing frameworks like YOLOv8 and above, to address specific conservation challenges.
Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to refine and optimize existing systems for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Leveraging statistical analysis to derive actionable insights from extensive datasets, contributing to informed decision-making processes.
Actively participating in system retraining efforts and continuously improving model performance.
Contributing to the development of innovative self-learning applications designed to enhance conservation efforts and combat poaching activities.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages, with a strong emphasis on machine learning.
Demonstrated expertise in machine learning techniques and methodologies, including experience with YOLOv8 and above.
Familiarity with data science principles, best practices, and tools.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Desired Skills:
Experience with computer vision technologies and image recognition algorithms, particularly within the context of wildlife conservation.
Knowledge of remote sensing techniques and geospatial data analysis.

Requirements
Some experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
Ability to write robust code in Python
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (likeYOLOv8, Roboflow, CometML) and libraries
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
